『蝦夷紀行』の大陸沿岸の泊地。ロヽカマチーから潮を見て出帆し、約一里半進んだ夜に泊まったと記される。海浜や河岸に仮小屋を設ける旅の様子を説明する直前の地点。
名称の言語的由来は未確認。
