素韃地
『蝦夷紀行』龍谷大学本の翻刻にある地名。ノテトからナニヲーまでの樺太沿岸と、海峡を隔てて向かい合う大陸側を指すと読める。「素韃地」と、のちの渡航記事に出てくる「東韃」が同じ地名かは確認できていない。
「素韃地」の読みや語源は分かっていない。「東韃」との関係を確かめるには、翻刻だけでなく写本の文字も確認する必要がある。
