十勝（とかち）。北海道東部の十勝川とその流域・河口付近を指す。『蝦夷草紙』では石狩川と対比される大河として、その川幅や河口の様子が説明される。
本文の呼称からの暫定分類。語源と現代の地名との対応は未確認。
