『蝦夷草紙』で見市村の奥にあり、良質な鉛を産するとされる山。江差の人が掘った時の産出量を伝える。国文学研究資料館本のラホマ岳と龍谷大学本のヲボユ山岳は並行箇所の異なる翻刻。
名称の言語的由来は未確認。
