奥夷
奥蝦夷（おくえぞ）は、和人地・松前から遠い側の蝦夷地を示す地域名。『蝦夷草紙』では北海道内の奥地を含み、樺太など遠方の島を指す用例もある。『蝦夷薮話』の「奥夷」は、金の採掘や金を用いた織物についての伝聞に現れる。
