ロシアを表す当時の表記。『藻汐草』には「露西亜東北辺の人」という見出しがある。『蝦夷紀行』では、林蔵が現地の人々にロシアの境界を尋ねている。『蝦夷草紙』はロシアの国土や政治を説明する。
