沙流（さる）。北海道の太平洋岸、沙流川流域に関係する地域名。『北海随筆』はヲニヒシの村と記し、別の筆記にあるクルをサルの聞違いではないかと検討する。
本文の呼称からの暫定分類。語源と現代の地名との対応は未確認。
