三五郎らが択捉で受けた扱いについて、四郎左衛門を介して報告を聞く人物。『蝦夷藪話』には「浅左衛門」「浅右衛門」が近接して現れ、気の毒な事情だと応じた声を漂流者が聞いたとする。両表記の関係は写本の検討を要する。
