『北海随筆』冒頭の津軽海峡渡海記事にある潮筋の名。タツヒとシラカミの間に並び、弱い風では乗り切れず南部沖へ流される危険を説明する。湖沼の名称と判断できる記述ではなく、潮流の位置と字形の照合を要する。
