Tamura explicitly cross-refers inunpe to inumpe, the wooden boards framing a hearth; Kayano and Batchelor give the same object. Corpus contexts also distinguish inunpe from apeoy, the hearth itself. This supports the reading but narrows the referent relative to the general Japanese 爐. inumpe is an attested spelling alternative, not evidence for a different object. The other source occurrences under 炉縁 and 囲炉裡 remain unchanged.
