「地獄」

Ota records the complete teynepoknasir form; Kirikae gives Shitaku’s teyne poknasir with the wet-underworld sense. Narrative transcripts also use the joined and spaced expressions, including material catalogued as recorded in 1929 and published in 2022. This supports the lexical comparison for 地獄 without dating those transcripts to the eighteenth century. Batchelor and NINJAL give a related expression with mosir. Final リ leaves r/ri open; teyne poknasiri is an unconfirmed alternative. The Buddhist Japanese gloss does not establish identical beliefs or geography of the afterlife.
