ホデレケレリコプ
Ainu「火星」
hoterekere riyupguess
The facsimile supports 大星 and ホデレケレリユプ. The correction layer preserves the transcription’s 火星, リコプ and attached note. Hoterekere riyup is provisional: rikop is an attested star word, but does not explain ユ. Nojiri reports an uncertain oterkerikop “jumping star” interpretation; modern oterke entries mean “step on”. The transcription contributor cites Sueoka for a twenty-day-waiting/Antares proposal; that book was not independently consulted. Hot “twenty” and tere “wait” alone do not establish the complete expression. Neither Mars nor Antares is securely identified. Ota’s Marsu is explicitly marked new and is excluded as evidence for this historical term.
