「暑」

sirpopkemedium
Sirpopke follows the joined spelling used by Kayano and Nakagawa. Tamura defines warm weather and explicitly includes weather hot enough to cause sweating; Batchelor gives hot weather. These support 暑. Sir-popke is Tamura’s spelling, sir popke displays components, and siri popke preserves the historical リ vowel as a comparison; the modern spelling does not determine eighteenth-century pronunciation.
