「夜来」

ukuranmedium
Ukuran is retained as the established lexical interpretation: Tamura and Nakagawa document last night or evening. Kirikae records okuran with Kushiro speaker examples, which remain relevant dialect evidence. The written ヲ alone does not establish that this occurrence should replace ukuran with that dialect form. Japanese 夜来 leaves the exact time span qualified. The lone okuran corpus record is uncertain; it is not the basis for selecting a reading.
Tamura 1996 and Nakagawa 1995 s.v. ukuran「①ゆうべ。…」; Kirikae 2004 Kushiro vocabulary s.v. okuran, opita, tan okuran; Hirayama 2013 part 3 s.v. オクラン「① 夜来;② 〈釧路〉夕べ、晩、夜(オクラン)」; Kanjipedia s.v. 夜来Source passage
