ヤイランベテウノ
Ainu「幼」
yayerampewtek nolow
Yayerampewtek can describe not understanding or lacking consciousness, and -no can form an adverb. This gives a possible comparison with 幼 through lack of understanding. The shorter yayrampewtek is also attested and is closer to the recorded beginning. The source’s テウノ does not transparently represent either full ending, and neither complete phrase with no has a corpus match. Examples about unconsciousness do not attest a child term. The whole reconstruction therefore remains low confidence.
