The recorded ending ケタ is accounted for by penake, upstream side, followed by locative ta. Batchelor’s Penaketa, the upper place or up above, supports the complete combination. The spaced form retains every recorded component; corpus record biratori/003/004#199 also uses penake ta for an upstream location.
