ヲハチセ
Ainu「明き屋」
ohacisemedium
Tamura explicitly defines ohacise as an empty house, and the Mukawa vocabulary gives the same form and meaning. Batchelor’s Oha example also means an empty house. This directly fits 明き屋. Oha cise displays the components. Hirayama’s longer ohachiseiruhe comparison concerns a guardian spirit; that extra material is unnecessary for identifying this recorded house word.
