「所の繁昌」

kotan sipimedium
NINJAL explicitly records kotan sipi “the village revives”, and Kayano gives sipi “revive”. This supports dividing the recorded form into kotan sipi. Revival is related to the heading’s prosperity but does not prove identical meaning. Batchelor’s joined Kotan-shipi denotes a town or village; it is a different semantic comparison. The historical comparison extract glosses the expression as the place becoming fertile; its modern romanization is not itself dated 1792.
