Modern approximate-hour explanations are not converted into a fixed time for the historical source. The thirteen to kes matches either cross phrase boundaries in kes to kes to or kes to kes pa, or mean the lower end of a lake. Two tókes examples in Ainu Times issue 12 are translated with lunch or midday; they do not support the evening identification.
