バイヤン
Ainu「行け」
Tamura gives plural paye, go, and the imperative particle yan, used with plural verb forms for multiple addressees or respectful address. This supports paye yan for 行け; バイ leaves the precise realization of paye uncertain. Ota’s 新 label belongs to a farewell expression containing this phrase. It does not date the verb or imperative construction, and the unrelated yan meaning come ashore is excluded.
