テイグル
Ainu「林」
teykurguess
Teykur transcribes テイグル; teykuru retains the written final vowel. The consulted evidence provides no independently attested teykur. Nikur is the better-supported lexical candidate: Kayano and Batchelor record it for tree shade, the corpus includes ni kur with that meaning, and the comparison extract has 林原/ニイクル. The connection remains tentative because the initial kana differ (テイ/ニイ), and 林 and 木陰 are different meanings.
