「宵の明星」

Kimmacisurkur follows the recorded キンマチスルグル provisionally, without claiming an established compound. The inherited kimmacinukarkur comes from the commentary’s different キンマチヌカルグル; this witness does not supply ヌカル. Fukasawa marks that analysis uncertain and reports that Sueoka lacked secure information for a related form. Kim and nukar are independently known words, but do not bridge the written discrepancy. Aronumannociw is an attested evening-star comparison with different sounds. Batchelor’s cinukarkur comparison denotes the north star or guardian, not an identification of this evening-star expression.
