「正月」

The recorded final チユツプ supplies cup “month”, so the full interpretation is enomicup. Nakagawa distinguishes e-nomi “pray to with something” from i-nomi “perform worship”; the source’s ヱ supports e, while inomicup is the directly attested New Year month name in Tamura and Kayano. Batchelor Enomi is a worship verb and does not attest the complete historical month name. The 14 enomi corpus matches concern worship; none attests enomicup. Inomicup occurs in a 1983 narrative and in NINJAL, with a later bot copy of the dictionary. The e/i relationship remains qualified.
