コヤントノ
Ainu「家中」
Koyan tono is a provisional segmentation of the recorded kana. Tono “lord/official” is clear; the first element and the exact relationship to 家中 “retainers/household” remain unresolved. Fukasawa marks the commentary’s “descending lord” explanation for reconsideration and cites koyan with upward motion. Corpus examples likewise include rising fire sparks and landing. Koyantone “stay with someone” offers a different comparison for dependence on a household, but its final ne differs from written no and it does not attest the title. The complete expression remains uncertain beyond the related historical records.
