「平人」

Yayan “ordinary” and samo “Wajin” explain 平人 in this sequence of titles and ethnic names. The NINJAL edition gives both sisam and samo, and yayan sisam for an ordinary Wajin. This witness writes ヤヽ, without an explicit final n; yaya samo remains a closer literal alternative. Restoring n is an interpretation, and the complete yayan samo has no corpus match. The source’s distinct shorter and longer variants remain separate entries.
