シヤー
Ainu「姉」
sahigh
Sa is directly attested for “elder sister” and accounts for シヤー without adding the unwritten po of the earlier sapo interpretation. Hirayama also compares サ at this exact heading. Sapo is a related affectionate form, and saha is a possessed form. The source length mark is omitted in the selected modern spelling without a claim about its historical duration. Corpus sa includes other words and speaker labels; the retained a=sa context supplies the relevant sister use.
