Kayano directly gives haprapcup for the second month. The 1998 radio lesson also uses that meaning, and a 2001 newspaper context writes haprap cup for February. Batchelor instead assigns Haprapchup to March; NINJAL’s shorter haprap also has the third-month gloss. Tamura’s haprap is an eighth-month name with a leaf-related explanation. The spelling and source’s second-month identification have support within particular traditions; these attestations do not establish one universal month number or etymology.
