ミチ

Ainu

「父」

micihigh
Mici directly matches ミチ “father.” Chiri and Nakagawa document regional differences, while Tamura describes ku=mici both for “my father” and as a call to one’s father. The bare source entry does not establish one of those constructions. Michi is an older spelling, including in Bible texts; modern c is used here. The same spelling can have other senses or analyses, so the father interpretation follows the source gloss and lexical evidence rather than an undifferentiated count.
